Spoil yourself or someone you love with this unique original miniature painting and easel. This beautifully colorful acrylic painting is signed by the artist, Peggy Hobin. The easel is accentuated by dangles of genuine sea glass and Tibetan silver. This treasure is a perfect gift or just lovely to perch on a side table, bookshelf, window sill, desk top, night stand… any cubbyhole you would like to showcase in your home.

We all love the finer things in life. This special keepsake is painted on a 3”x3” quality canvas and is an original painting, not a print. The edges are continuously painted and it is sealed with a matte finish so as not to disturb the painting with unwanted shine or reflections. The solid wood easel height is about 5" and includes the one pictured in this listing. In the event you should like to change your display in your home, it is backed with a satin ribbon which you can easily hang on any wall. Your miniature piece of art will be carefully packed and shipped, and shipping is free in the United States. A personal note about the artist is included.

About the artist....

Peggy Hobin has spent most of her life expressing her creative side, even in the business world. She has taken, and given, great pleasure in the beauty of food, flowers, writing, family, and friends. Now that she has retired, she has finally picked up paint brushes, and may never put them down again. She lives in California.

What is Sea Glass?

Sea Glass pieces are frosty, sparkling gems that are naturally tumbled by the sea, sand and time. Each has a unique shape just like a snowflake does. These glass “shards” originate from broken bottles and tableware found as a result of eroded dump sites, natural disasters, and (my favorite) shipwrecks. Yo, Ho, Ho, and a bottle of Rum!

A really good piece of Sea Glass is at least 50 years old. It takes that long to tumble in the surf and sand and become pitted by mother nature. They are a perfect example of our human discarded “rubbish” turned into something beautiful by the ocean.

The pieces you find in my store are hand collected from the sea shore, by me or someone I know personally. With the wonderful recycling we do now, they will not be found forever.

I am a proud member of the North American Sea Glass Association, preserving these gems and heirlooms for your family.
